Ideal to have a coffee before visiting Versailles or to have dinner before taking the train back to Paris. Here, tastes are quite diverse:
– Buffalo Grill. We like this restaurant, it’s the French version of an American steakhouse, with barbecued ribs and burgers. The concept is interesting, and the food is very tasty, plus they welcome you with a small free salad. Prices per plate range from 15 to 25 euros.
– Starbucks. It’s not actually a restaurant, but if you arrive in the morning, you can have a coffee with a tart to start your tour in a good mood.
– Mc Donalds y KFC.A typical fast-food restaurant that’s worth mentioning in case you are craving something to eat.
E. Market Square (Place du Marché)
You’ll find the market square in a 10-15 minute walk from the Palace, where you’ll find the largest variety of French restaurants. It’s also where you can get to know the culture better, as these are the restaurants where French people eat lunch or dinner. There’s a great variety of restaurants and the prices range from 10 to 25 euros per dish. This option is ideal if you plan to get to know a little more about the City of Versailles.
