Tickets and prices for the Palace of Versailles

There are many ticket options to visit the Palace of Versailles and its gardens, and the different options generate confusion, so here we want to simplify the task for you so you can choose the option that suits you best.

Entrance to the Palace, the Trianon, Marie Antoinette’s house, and her villa is free for children under 18 (under 26 if they live in the European Union), they just have to show their passport or official ID at the entrance. The gardens are only free for children under 6 years old.

*Important note about the Gardens of Versailles

From April to October, you must pay to enter the gardens of Versailles. On paid days, the small gardens inside are open. To make it more magical, there is music in the gardens and the fountains are working. The rest of the months there are no such animations and the gardens are free.
